If we aren't being blasted with a ton of movie previews we are being clobbered by advertisers. I think it would be a great place to engage movie goers and drive them to their smart phones to take action immediately! Like you said people are a captive audience so their is no where to run especially if you are stuck in the center of a row! If advertisers offered discounts or special promotions, this would be a great place to test it: "redeem your free/special/discount - whatever by visiting this site www..... or texting too ####" Theater advertising may be a perfect fit for mobile as more an more people start trading in their Razors/Flip Phones and get Smart!
